CLARION EVENTS AQUIRES ITEC
Clarion Events Limited has today announced the acquisition of three major exhibitions in the defence and security sector. DSEi (Defence Systems and Equipment International), ITEC and LAAD (Latin American Aerospace and Defence) have been bought by Clarion Events from Reed Exhibitions, a division of Reed Elsevier. The shows have been purchased for an undisclosed amount.
Clarion Events is the largest independent event organiser in the UK and a highly successful, professional and award winning company. Clarion Events has been creating leading brands and world-class business and networking environments globally in a variety of sectors for more than 30 years.
Commenting on the acquisition Simon Kimble, CEO of Clarion Events, said:
“The events we have acquired in the defence and security sector are a valuable and profitable addition to our portfolio and fit perfectly with our strategy for international expansion.

The three shows being purchased by Clarion Events have all been sold as going concerns.
