  • Meeting Current & Future Operational Needs: Civil
The Civil Contingencies and response community is increasingly adopting Modelling and Simulation techniques to train, exercise and rehearse the complex modern emergency response systems at all levels, local through central government.  A discussion of challenges addressed in these programmes and exploration of the implications and needs for MS&T tools in this emerging domain.

  • Joint Platforms Training Solutions
Discussions covering the joint training solutions issues.  Multinational, multiservice and coalition programmes such as JSF, MRAP and Unmanned Sensors present challenges in developing collective MS&T that enables efficiencies in training systems whilst maintaining the specific methods and approaches of the participating services and nations.

  • Rotary Wing Training and Mission Preparation
Addressing Rotary Wing Training and the requirement to provide the best possible training to succeed in all operations in Afghanistan and beyond.  How to employ networked synthetic training and international partnership as key elements for mission preparation.
