In a revised format this year, the day is packed with structured networking opportunities and live demonstrations. Attendees will hear from regional military leaders before breaking into small groups for a series of rotational sessions.

  1. Collect your badge on arrival and mingle (at a safe distance, of course) with other delegates.
  2. A welcome address to set the scene for the day.
  3. A chance to quiz our keynote speakers, grab a coffee and connect with other delegates.
  4. Delegates will be split into small groups for a series of rotational breakout sessions, offering live demonstrations with relevant exhibitors.
  5. After a comfort break and an opportunity to grab refreshments, it is time to move on to your second breakout session.
  6. A complimentary lunch will be served, while giving you time to quiz exhibitors on their morning demos and share learnings with other attendees.
  7. Hear from our second guest speaker, followed by a quickfire Q&A.
  8. Time to reconvene in your small group for the third breakout session of the day. 
  9. Your final exhibitor demo. Make sure you haven't missed meeting a relevant organisation. 
  10. Head back to the presentation area for a brief discussion and summary of the day's events.
  11. Depending on your onward travel arrangements, you are warmly invited to stay around for drinks in a casual setting. A great chance to follow-up with new connections.

Who can attend?

MilSim CEE is open to serving military personnel as well as representatives from government and academia. There is no charge to attend for these groups.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the attendee must be a serving member of the active or reserve military, including air forces, armies, navies, special forces, coast guards, marines, gendarmerie or similar security/armed forces.

The attendee must have a rank and should register with a military email address. For verification purposes, applicants may be required to supply military ID.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the attendee must be a civilian meeting one or more of the following criteria:

  • employed by a ministry or department of defence
  • employed by a national government
  • employed by an organisation owned or operated by the government
  • employed in the public sector
  • employed in public administration

The attendee should register using a government or public sector organisation email address.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the attendee must be a lecturer, professor, postgraduate/PhD student or work within research and development.

The attendee should register using a university or educational establishment email address.
