Unreal Facilitating Future Force Augmented and Virtual Training

The presentation will be designed to brief on the work conducted by Lockheed Marin in collaboration with Epic Games, to develop a reusable virtual Reality (VR) Augmented Reality (AR) architecture to support reconfigurable high fidelity training system for future AFVs. The work will be illustrated using two prototype applications both developed in Unreal, one in VR the other in AR. The AR architecture and prototypes are both built around a Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) using the open source Data Distribution Service (DDS).
