The Challenge 2026
The DualTech Challenge will be returning for its third year in person at ITEC 2026, in collaboration with Dstl, the UK Ministry of Defence's in-government science and technology organisation.
The Challenge is an initiative set to uncover innovative solutions from beyond the traditional defence sector. We invite individuals, teams and organisations to bring forward innovative ideas that could help address existing gaps faced by end users.
Submissions for the DualTech Challenge 2026 are now open.
Submissions will be assessed by Dstl and Front Line Command Stakeholders. Three finalists will be selected by a Dstl-led judging panel to showcase their innovations live on stage at ITEC 2026.

Wargaming Showcase 2026
The Wargaming Showcase returns to DualTech 2026, bringing cutting-edge tools, expert insight, and live gameplay to the DualTech theatre. Sponsored by Matrix Pro Sims, this focused one-day event highlights how modern wargaming supports analysis, testing, and training across defence and security.
Visitors can explore hands-on demonstrations of professional-grade wargaming and simulation software, seeing first-hand how complex challenges are modelled and debated through interactive gameplay.
