Alex joined the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer in 1990, serving on Destroyers and Small Ships and time with the Royal Marines at RM Poole. Commissioning as a Training Manager (Engineering) he completed further qualifications in Electronics and Electrics and a BSc (Hons) Engineering and Management, he gained his PGCE(PCET) teaching electronics and systems engineering at HMS Collingwood. Gaining his MSc in Computer Based Training and Learning he specialised in simulation and synthetics developing a range of technology-based training solutions working for FOST and the MTAO. A qualified programme manager Alex joined Fujitsu DNS after leaving
