Jonathan Boyd is the Fire Chief of Allen Fire Department, where he has served since 1996 and became Chief in 2018. A Collin College Fire Academy valedictorian, he holds public affairs degrees from UT Dallas and completed the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program. His leadership during COVID-19 and a 2023 active shooter response highlighted his focus on public safety. Boyd promotes simulation-based training to improve decision-making and readiness.
