The Workforce Decision Analysis Suite is developed by Australian Defence scientists, alongside universities and international partners, including Canadian Defence scientists and the United States Navy. The team is led by Vivian Nguyen, a researcher specialising in workforce planning and the recipient of the 2024 Minister's Award for Achievement in Defence Science. The team comprises Kristan Pash: a simulation analyst experienced in developing and applying military simulations, Cameron Pike: a researcher interested in simulation abstraction and machine learning, and Katie Mortimer: an optimisation expert focused on the workforce domain.
