Over 20 years of experience in simulation-based training across all domains in the Norwegian Army. After commanding at company level, including a deployment to Bosnia, he became Executive Officer at the Combat Training Centre in 2004, later serving as Commanding Officer. Since 2018, he have led the Norwegian Army Training and Simulation Centre, responsible for the Army's Simulation Policy, Training Manual as well as all live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training systems.
