Lieutenant Colonel (Retd.) Ken-Tore Saade Eriksen
Ken-Tore Saade Eriksen brings over two decades of hands-on operational and strategic experience in defence simulation and training — now channelled into bridging the gap between military requirements and industry capability.
A career officer who rose through command at the company level, including operational deployments to Lebanon, Bosnia, and Syria, Ken-Tore spent the better part of his career shaping how the Norwegian Army trains. As Commanding Officer of the Combat Training Centre and, from 2018, as Head of the Norwegian Army Training and Simulation Centre, he held responsibility for the Army's Simulation Policy, Training Doctrine, and the full spectrum of Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training systems across all domains.
Having recently retired from uniformed service, Ken-Tore now leads Eriksen LiveSim Consult (ELSC) — an advisory and consulting firm focused on the defence training and simulation industry. He works at the intersection of operational credibility and industry expertise, helping organisations understand what militaries actually need from their training systems and helping militaries make more informed capability decisions.
With deep relationships across NATO partner nations and a practitioner's understanding of LVC integration, simulation policy, and training transformation, Ken-Tore is a trusted voice for any organisation serious about where defence training is heading.
