Still joined the RAF in 1999 after studying Aerospace Engineering. He operated Tornado in Air Defence and Ground Attack and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance roles and is a graduate of the Qualified Weapons Instructor and Advanced Command and Staff Courses. He career has included operational tours including Operations TELIC, HERRICK, ELLAMY and SHADER and capability aquisiton roles throughout his career including the tri-Service UK Military Flying Training System, Defence Operational Training Capability (Air) and Future Combat Air System Technology Initiative. Still's current role is Officer Commanding the ABTC, charged with the delivery of Gladiator as an operational capability.
