Mr. Or Ben Shabat
Or Ben Shabat is Founder and CEO of Digital Combat Academy (DCA), based in Tel Aviv. An IDF reserve Major and tank company commander, he brings nearly two decades of operational experience together with more than ten years in game and product design. Since October 2023 he has led the design of whole-unit mission rehearsal under wartime conditions, working with the IDF, Israeli Police and community emergency-response teams. His work focuses on how training design keeps teams in productive challenge, how team behaviour under pressure can be measured, and what that human behaviour data can offer the development of AI and autonomous systems. He spoke at ITEC 2026 and joined its panel on immersive environments for defence and first-responder performance.
