Sondra Chambers is the Senior Strategy and Business Development Manager at General Dynamics Mission Systems in Orlando, Florida.  Prior, she served in positions of increasing responsibility in the training and simulation industry at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Technical Services Division and Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services, in the Global Training Solutions business unit.

With over thirty years of successful Department of Defense related strategic business development with a focus on training, simulation and advanced technologies, Sondra has a unique perspective on the current and emerging needs of training and simulation for the military.  

Sondra holds a bachelor’s degree from the San Francisco Art Institute and maintains a Program Management Professional certification. She is passionate about STEM and is an active volunteer, serving on the Women in Defense Central Florida Chapter for eight years, now as a Member of the Advisory Board of Directors. Sondra also enjoys supporting the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) and has served on I/ITSEC Subcommittees including the Human Performance Analysis and Engineering and Tutorial Subcommittees, since January 2019.
