Tim Colebrooke
Defined by frontier technology deployed in demanding environments, my career started in the Royal Air Force. As a Tornado Navigator, I employed advanced weapons, systems and electronic warfare in operations worldwide. At BAE Systems, I translated that frontline experience into technology programmes, leading the development of next-generation training capabilities while working with government and international customers on complex, high-value projects.
More recently, co-founding Mission Decisions gave me first-hand exposure to start-up ventures by building a data intelligence business that reached an £8m valuation in two years and secured a strong defence customer base during a challenging procurement climate.
Today, as part of Cambridge Future Tech, I work at the intersection of dual-use, deep-tech venture building and strategic partnerships, helping early-stage companies and corporates turn cutting-edge technologies into scalable businesses solving problems for Defence.
