Christopher Symonds is a principal member of the technical staff at Sandia National Laboratory and is NOT a machine learning expert. He has a MS in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico, with some exposure to ML systems, building classifiers and linear regression models. Chris is part of the Interactive Systems Simulation and Analysis team helping to model and build next-generation physical protection systems. Prior to Computer Science, Chris worked in the film industry for over a decade, both behind and in front of the camera. His credits include films like Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3. Chris has worked with some of the biggest stars in the world, and still gets nervous before a talk (so don't feel bad if you do, too).
