Elaine M. Raybourn contributes to Department of Energy's Office of Science Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR) Next Generation Scientific Software Technologies. She holds a Ph.D. in Intercultural Communication/Human Computer Interaction from University of New Mexico, and Graduate Certificate in Modeling/Simulation of Behavioral Cybersecurity from University of Central Florida. She was a European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM) Fellow at Fraunhofer FIT (Germany), and the French National Institute for Computer Science (INRIA). She explores ethics, AI/ML technology readiness, and diffusion of innovations.
